Lecture Recitals
Lecture recitals are a great format to not only inform, but open ears and minds. The variety between demonstrations and prose keeps content engaging and enlightening. Aiming to offer a more accessible route into classical works, demystifying the sometimes complicated terminology, and exposing the very human essence of many of these works
This lecture covers all requirements of the GCSE syllabus in addition to providing historical and artistic context, immersing the audience deeper. This project truly aims to bring Beethoven to life, drawing the listener closer into his rich musical world. In just 60mins we shall walk through the first movement, using Beethoven’s much revered sonata form to explore his rich compositional pallet. Investigating form, context, harmonic structure and devices, thematic development and more, all content shall be covered but in the most approachable way.
